It sounds superprofessional in Spanish:

La EncuadernaciĆ³n. The bindery. I don't know how you can get that many syllables to stand for one simple thing, but leave it to the romance languages.

In French, it's probably livrefaitparfait, but you would only pronounce the first half.

Who am I to be busting on other languages, though, when I love them so much?

So seeing as how the Beaumont Middle School class didn't pan out, I had been prowling instead for a web designer, scoping out contacts among friends and acquaintances. But lo, the Monkey (actually, he's a Pig) and I went to the China Council auction on Saturday, and another book artist there mentioned she does web design, too.

Such synergy I can appreciate, because not only does she know artists' books, she knows me, knows China, knows coding. We're meeting next week, and now I'm fully into site outline mode, getting more excited all the while.

Now that it's officially Year of the Pig, I can wish you all Xin nian kuai le. I have good feelings about this one.
